We will never see you wearing...

Anything too low, too tight, or too transparent.

Please describe your style in three words.

Relaxed, yet considered.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Overaccessorising and overanalysing.

Do you believe in role models?

Yes. But if you're looking for inspiration, always choose someone who shares the same attributes as yourself.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Super soft cotton and cashmere — anything that feels good on the skin.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

The “more is more, throw it all on” styling. Best left to children and dressing up boxes!

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

Conservative most of the time but bolder when the sun comes out.

What are the rules in the way you dress?

I like my look to be balanced in colour and shape. A tight top half requires a loose bottom half, and vice versa.

Celebrities and style...

Don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Diamond stacking rings by Annoushka.

A woman should always look like...

The best version of herself.

Who taught you what you know about style?

I do a lot of people watching.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

It depends on my mood and the weather, as living in London can be limiting for most of the year.

What is your biggest regret?

Plucking and not going to enough sample sales.

The three essential things a woman should know about style are...

It has nothing to do with fashion. The importance of good tailoring. Style should feel good on.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

Always over buy when shopping and take as much home as possible to try on with the rest of your wardrobe and in your own surroundings. Shop early in morning to avoid the crowds.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

I love Fyodor Golan and Christopher Kane for dressing clients for the red carpet, and Roksanda Ilincic for creating dresses for women with curves.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

Emmanuelle Alt.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

Her hair.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My bespoke rose gold and rough diamond engagement ring by Annoushka Ducas, a Céline jumpsuit, and a well-loved tan Prada tote.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

Old photos of Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot.

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Dior and Valentino for red carpet and Isabel Marant for every day.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Buying the right cut, size, and colour of denim and spending money on good shoes.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

No, if you aren’t comfortable in what your wearing, it shows.

Who would you like to recommend for €œMy Style€?

Jo Elvin.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

Work hard and be nice to people.
