Please describe your style in three words.
Spontaneous, glamorous, rock 'n' roll.
What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?
Trying too hard and taking it too seriously, as it loses the effortless feel.
Do you believe in role models?
Yes, we have many role models for all different kinds, from business role models and creative role models to spiritual role models. It is important to have something/somebody to look up to.
What are your favourite fabrics?
Silk, lambswool, cashmere.
Are there any style combinations that you object to?
Too matchy-matchy.
Would you say that you are conservative or bold?
Definitely not conservative, but I wouldn't say we are too bold either. I would call us emotional dressers.
What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?
Always dress to suit your body type.
Celebrities and style...
Should work in a way that it suits their personality.
One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?
Our diamond necklaces, gifts from our husbands.
Who taught you what you know about style?
Our mother is a true style icon and we can always find inspiring things in her wardrobe.
How do you select your clothing every morning?
Spontaneous — depending on our mood. As said, we are emotional dressers.
Your biggest regret is...
Never try to regret anything; it is a waste of time.
The three essential things a woman should know about style are...
Keep it minimal, keep it casual, keep it elegant.
Do you have any shopping rituals?
We need an occasion to go shopping like a holiday, event, etc. You get much more into the mood and you also have a goal, which helps.
We will never see you wearing...
Pink hot pants.
The most stylish person you have ever seen...
Victoria Fernandez.
Which new designers do you follow and why?
Peter Pilotto, great sense of colour and great cuts.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
Skater skirts and dresses, knit pullovers, and lambswool coats.
Is comfort an enemy of style?
Not necessarily. Our bestsellers are always the stylish comfort pieces.
Which designer never fails to impress you?
Azzedine Alaia.
Who would you like to see next in "My Style"?
Henry Holland, we are sure he would have some fun comments.
The best word of advice you have ever heard?
Never listen to too many people. In the end nobody cares as much as you do.
