Not feeling beautiful in your clothes.

Well, yes, the Dalai Lama, great scientists. I admire beautiful minds.
What are your favourite fabrics?
Silk, organic cotton, cashmere, anything soft and comfy.
Are there any style combinations that you object to?
No, fashion is fun to play with.
Which city has the best-dressed women?
Milan and Paris, bien sur!
Would you say that you are conservative or bold?
Bold in a conservative way.
What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?
Mix and match; I always break my outfit with a big, crazy accessory.

Statement jewellery and statement shoes.

Shoes first.
What is your biggest regret?
I don’t like to think about regrets, just opportunities. My opportunity right now is being an editor for a very interesting and promising market: The Middle East.

I am a big fan of Net-a-Porter and the Outnet for great bargains.

I cannot promise anything, but I cannot imagine a cute way to style Birkenstocks.
Which new designers do you follow and why?
Venessa Arizaga for the playfulness of her accessory line. I never wear any bag that is not Corto Moltedo as his are unique and the quality impeccable, and I’m interested to see how Anthony Vaccarello will continue to develop. Oh, and also Brazilian Pedro Lourenco is doing a great job. I am a big fan of sophisticated, colourful prints and material mixes.
The most stylish person you have ever seen...
Going to shows, I see a lot of stylish editors like Taylor Tomasi, Giovanna Battaglia, and Elena Perminova. Seeing Anna Dello Russo is like going to the opera.
What is the first thing you notice on a woman?
Her hair.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
My white sheer silk Roberto Cavalli dress, my leather jacket, my vintage gold Rolex, and all my shoes!
