No, it’s a free world. I even enjoy looking at bad styling; we need contrasts and individuality.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?
Not listening to your instincts. If in doubt — don’t do it! It always shows when you don’t feel good.

No, that is a utopia.

Structured fabrics, interesting weavings/knits, mélange fabrics.
Which city has the best-dressed women?
Copenhagen is full of young, beautiful and stylish girls, and Rome is inspirational for their elder women.

I am boldly conservative!

I need to feel good, and that’s the only rule.

I love watching people, so I guess it is my curiosity in general that taught me about style.

By mood and availability!

Couldn’t say — I’ve decided I will not pay any more attention to regrets.

Do you have any shopping rituals?
I do not enjoy shopping that much, so I try to cover it up by having lunch, coffee and cake. That will keep me smiling.

Very high heels. I would really love to, but I just can’t make it work.
Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?
It's difficult to pick just one. Recently, I saw an elderly lady on the street — she was wearing an oversized off-white cashmere coat, off-white slacks, a big burgundy felt hat, and burgundy crutches (!). I was blown away by how stylishly she used the latter unfortunate accessories. She looked stunning.
What is the first thing you notice on a woman?
Her face.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
I have a battery of Wackerhaus blazers from various seasons that I just use over and over again. They are very much me.
Which designer never fails to impress you?
Stella McCartney — I find her success very inspirational. I love the everyday look combined with interesting, luxurious, and rich detailing. She might not be fashion forward, but she surprises every season in her own subtle way.

Her coat. That will give her away.
