Not really, I object to things that don’t fit anymore. I like interesting combinations.

That depends on what they are dressed for; London is interesting, but maybe New York has the best relaxed casual look.

Probably both in equal measure!

Socks and pants should match. And if in doubt wear more… layering.

From the shoes up, after that it’s a balance between what mood I’m in and what’s going on that day.

I love the new Kenzo collection, if that counts. Other new designers — Yunus and Eliza, Palmer Harding.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
Original Ferragamo shoes made by Salvatore himself, also my Hardy Amies gold jacket from the 80s. My current favourites are my Todd Lynn coat, Hannah Martin ring, and Holly Fulton shirt.

Currently Kenzo, but I always love Martin Margiela, Prada, and Alexander Wang.
